Riverly Gin – born on the rivers, crafted for the world
How it started
It all started during the pandemic. Out of curiosity, we began experimenting with distilling. Our first attempt at moonshine was far from drinkable — but the spark was lit.
In May 2021 we joined a gin-making workshop. With more than 50 botanicals at hand, we created our very first blend. To our surprise, it worked. Balanced, aromatic, and — finally — drinkable. We proudly returned home with two bottles and a new passion.
From that moment on, we refined our recipe in the backyard, adjusting botanicals until we achieved something truly unique. By the end of 2022, the gin was ready for the world. All we needed was a name, a distillery, and a brand.
In January 2023, Gin Matters Spirits Co. was founded. With the river cruise industry as our first partner, Riverly Premium Dry Gin was born — a name inspired by its first voyages.
To bring Riverly to life, we partnered with Bottle Distillery in Eindhoven, ensuring craftsmanship and consistent quality. Our first 500 bottles, released in April 2023, quickly sold out and were soon enjoyed aboard 16 river cruise vessels across Europe and even one ocean cruise ship.
Today, Riverly stands as a refined, premium gin — created with passion, perfected through dedication, and shared with pride.

2021: First gin workshop
We kicked off with our first workshop, exploring the magic of botanicals and color-changing gin, laying the foundation for Riverly.

2022: Recipe refined
The recipe was perfected and ready for production, and Riverly is now being served on luxury venues and cruises.

Gin Matters Spirits Co. was established, Riverly officially launched, and we are looking forward to international expansion and new collaborations.
